One of my favorite things to do is go to a little coffee shop, restaurant, or park and work on whatever I need to get done. Often I work on Spanish or Bible study, but I also love to work on my blog. I really enjoy spending a few hours at a coffee shop writing up my blog posts, editing pins and photos, and doing whatever I need to do.
So, for todays post I thought it might fun to bring you along with me and show you what I keep in my blogging bag, plus why and how I use all the things for blogging.
Notebooks upon notebooks…
The first and foremost thing I keep in my bag is notebooks. I am a chronic notebook collector, but hey, at least I use them! I have a notebook dedicated to blogging, but I actually need a couple more!
I always keep my notebooks in my bag with me because you never know when inspiration will strike. You’ve gotta write that stuff down before it disappears forever! Because trust me, in my experience, it will. Plus, I like to plan out my content in my blogging notebook and do keyword research. Oh, and a million other things.
Next up in the blogging bag- my laptop.
The most important item I carry with me in my blogging bag is my Microsoft Surface Go. Although it is not technically a laptop, it works like one. I honestly have very good things about my surface. So far it has worked very well for me in blogging.
I keep it, along with the charger, in my bag at all times unless I am using it at home.
I will say that I don’t always carry my camera around. I only do when I am planning on taking photos or having a photoshoot. But, my Canon T6 is still a very important item you’ll find in my blogging bag.
I also carry my camera lenses, extra camera battery and my charger if I am taking photos that day.
One of my favorite things to do is journal and plan. So I always make sure to have my very favorite markers, pens, and other stationary tools with me at all times.
If you, like me, love to journal and make all your notes neat and pretty than I highly recommend the Zebra Pen Mildliner Markers. They are super affordable and I have never regretted buying them for a second.
I also like to keep sticky notes and felt tip pens in my bag to jot down random ideas, passwords, or codes that I only need temporarily.
Last up in the blogging bag–my planner
Last, but certainly not least, I keep my planner in my blogging bag. This is probably the most essential item because it’s where I plan everything. I like to write out when I’m pinning certain things on my Pinterest.
I also plan out my blog posts for certain days and keep my to-do lists in my planner too. Basically, my planner is my map from day to day and helps my productivity immensely.
Those are the main things you’ll find me carrying around daily in my blogging bag. They are all super important in the creation of my blog posts. If you have read this far I would like to give you a huge thanks. I hope you enjoyed the post! If you did don’t forget to join the Growing Daily family!
